A List of the Coolest Things I Saw/Did in Berlin

1. Discovered trees transplanted from Auschwitz in the Jewish Quarter

2. Experienced the Memorial for the Murdered Jews of Europe

As weird as it sounds, it almost make you feel the Holocaust. Click the video to get a better idea.

 3. Walked over Hitlers Bunker

Which is actually now just a parking lot. Where people take their dogs to use the bathroom. My sister was disappointed it wasn't a museum, but they don't want any Neo-Nazis making it in some sort of shrine. Personally, I like the idea of people parking and littering on Hitler's place of death.

4. Drank a Chai Latte at Einstein Kaffee next to Check Point Charlie

Which was birth place to some little known works such as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, looking from West Berlin into the Eastern portion.

 5. Memorial to the Nazi Book Burnings

It's an airtight library beneath the ground with enough shelf space to fit every book that was burned.
About 20,000 books.

 6. Watched my friend eat this plate of pig knuckle.

 7. Stood on the steps where Hitler once spoke.

 8. Stumbled upon Pick and Weight: Vintage by the Kilo

It's a vintage store where you can buy clothes by the kilo. Like. What??? That's awesome! Not to mention the inside of the store is insane with cool stuff.

9. Walked the East Side Gallery of the Berlin Wall

It's street art on steroids. And reminds me of how lucky I am to be able to use my voice.

10. Saw the Brandenburg Gate entirely made out of chocolate at Fassbender-Rausch

Also, the Tower, the Berlin Wall, a working volcano with oozing lava. All chocolate. I may have died and gone to heaven.

 11. Climbed to the tip-top of the Berliner Dome to catch this amazing 360 view of the city.

I've decided it might not be so bad to be a gargoyle after all.
